ATTENTION: Southern Gospel Singers & Groups!

If you are not being invited to sing on the Main Stage of Freedom Hall at the National Quartet Convention … we urge you to read this recent article by Nick Bruno in SoGospelNews.com … one point at a time – then prayerfully consider its recommendation and how it impacts or reflects your current or planned actions.

Please consider … is the direction you are pursuing truly your calling? Are you properly and fully equipped for this mission? And do you truly believe it to be the Lord’s will for your life and the lives of your family?

Comments and A Question . . .

There’s nothing that warms our hearts more than messages from enLighten34 listeners who are being blessed by what the Lord has made possible for us to provide via Channel 34. We thank each one of you who has at some point in time sent us a note of “encouragement.”

Just wanted you to know how much of a blessing enLighten34 is to my life. I started listening to Southern Gospel radio about two-and-a-half years ago. I became addicted immediately. Unfortunately our local radio station removed the Southern Gospel music from the air and replaced it with other Christian music. I became addicted to it as well … however, I longed for the Southern Gospel. I discovered your station on my TV at home and begged for an XM satellite radio of my own. My husband surprised me with one for Christmas and I listen to it all day long at work.  Thanks so much for being there . . . you are a real encouragement to me. –Jennifer, McDonough, Georgia

You can take XM Radio and enLighten34 with you wherever you go … at least anywhere in North America … as Steve is doing:

My wife and I so enjoy enLighten! We have an XM dock in the car, take the radio off and put it on the Harley when we ride, and we also have the set up for listening at home and work … all with one little portable receiver. –Steve, Sonora California

I love enLighten34 Southern Gospel. It puts a smile on my face every time I turn it on. I have XM Radio installed in two vehicles, in my house and I listen to you via online too. – John, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin

Hey guys … I purchased a new car, and had no intention of keeping XM ... until I heard enLighten34!!! Now I am addicted! We do not have a Southern Gospel station on FM or AM here in this part of Kansas, so enLighten has become my lifeline to Southern Gospel. The music is awesome, and the programming is great. –Brad, Pittsburg, Kansas

I just wanted you all to know that your song selection is so appealing to so many Southern Gospel fans! I love getting into the car and tuning in to XM34. I know I'll hear uplifting songs and a great variety of today's most requested songs as well as some songs from the past.  Keep up the great work sharing God's message of salvation! – Joey from South Carolina

I am a Christian and a minister of the Gospel. It is a delight each day to listen to enLighten. What blessings and spiritual uplifting I receive listening to song after song. –Ronnie, Vernon, Alabama

Finally, Jerry writes …

enLighten34 is a powerful channel that keeps me singing and praising God all day long. I have a suggestion: Ask us to share the Bible verse we love the most or has made the greatest impact on our life … maybe even present a verse of the day so people like me in the car can use it as a tool to reinforce memorization. –Jerry, Tulare California

MARLIN: What do you think about Jerry’s suggestion? Alicia and I have discussed this idea, but never taken an action. Let us know what you think … and, if you agree, send us your favorite Scripture verse.
